Trabzon Airport (TZX) is 1 km away, ~5 minutes by car, making this one of the seaside branded hotels in Turkey closest to an airport. Rize-Artvin Airport (RZV), ~75-80 km, is an alternative.

The hotel is in the Yalıncak-Gülyalı area, on Rize Caddesi (the coastal road), right on the sea. Trabzon Airport (TZX) is 1 km (~5 minutes by car), the city center (Meydan) 7-8 km (~15 minutes), Forum Trabzon mall ~5 km, and the KTÜ campus in the immediate area. Sümela Monastery is ~45 km (1 hour), Uzungöl ~90 km (1 hour 20 minutes), the Hagia Sophia Mosque 10 km, Boztepe 9 km. The location on the coastal road is also practical for routes toward Rize and Batumi; a program in the city runs by car or taxi.

Breakfast & dining

A rich open buffet in the sea-view breakfast hall; The Club Restaurant & Bar serves international cuisine and sushi, Claypots serves Black Sea regional cuisine (kuymak, anchovies in season), and the Lebanese Restaurant offers seasonal ocakbaşı grill service. During congress periods the breakfast hall gets busy; earlier is more comfortable. For Akçaabat köfte, Akçaabat is ~20 minutes, and the classic eateries around Meydan 15 minutes.

Noise & sound insulation

Three noise sources: Rize Caddesi traffic (land side), airport take-offs and landings (mostly daytime) and in-house congress and wedding events. The sea side on an upper floor is the most comfortable choice; the lower floors may be affected on ballroom event evenings.
