Istanbul Airport (IST) is about 43 km away and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) about 45 km. Allow at least 45 minutes by taxi, more in traffic.

The hotel sits on the northern edge of Maçka Park, uphill from Dolmabahçe. Dolmabahçe Palace is about 1 km away (roughly a 15-minute walk), Beşiktaş ferry pier about 1.2 km, Taksim Square and City's Nişantaşı mall about 1.5 km, and Sirkeci about 4.6 km. The surrounding streets are steep; the closest bus stops are Vişnezade (line 30A) and Akaretler (27E, 29C, 63 and others). Some guests note that rail options nearby are limited and that they relied mostly on taxis.

Breakfast & dining

The breakfast buffet is served at Sabrosa with Bosphorus views and is one of the most praised parts of a stay. A few guests found it repetitive or missing certain items. On-site dining includes Sabrosa, 16 Roof, Chalet, Gabbo and Café Swiss among others, but many reviewers consider prices high. Room service runs late.
