The realistic view
A 5-star hotel opened in 2001 in the lower floors of the Süzer Plaza tower in Elmadağ, best known for east-facing Bosphorus views, a 1,500 m² spa with an indoor pool and hammam, and consistently praised service. Dolmabahçe Palace is walkable, but reaching Taksim means an uphill walk along a busy road.

Istanbul Airport (IST) is about 40–45 minutes by car; Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) is about 31 km away. There is no hotel shuttle, so plan on a taxi or a pre-booked private transfer.
The hotel sits on the hill above Dolmabahçe, directly behind Vodafone Park stadium. Dolmabahçe Palace is a 5–10 minute walk. Getting up to Taksim Square and İstiklal Avenue means climbing a busy, traffic-heavy road, so many guests end up using taxis. Sultanahmet, Topkapı and the Grand Bazaar are roughly 20 minutes away by car. Several other large hotels, including Grand Hyatt, InterContinental, Swissôtel and The St. Regis, are in the same area.
The stay
Standard rates generally exclude breakfast, and Club Lounge access requires a Club Level booking. Parking is charged at €17 per day. The hotel does not run a free airport shuttle.
Spa Soul covers 1,500 m², with eight treatment rooms, a 17-metre indoor pool framed by Byzantine-style columns, a traditional hammam and a couples' hammam suite. The recently refurbished rooftop adds a seasonal outdoor infinity pool and an open-air spa terrace with jacuzzis. The gym is open 24 hours and there is a sauna.
