The realistic view
Swissôtel Resort & Spa Çeşme is a 248-room beach resort on Ilıca Beach in Çeşme, İzmir, reopened in November 2023 after a full renovation of the former Sheraton Çeşme. It has a sandy private beach, indoor, outdoor and thermal pools, the 3,500 m² Pürovel Spa fed by Ilıca's mineral springs, a kids' club and ten meeting rooms. Alaçatı is 3–4 km away and İzmir airport about 85 km; high-season crowds and slow beach service are the recurring criticisms.

The stay
Breakfast is a wide buffet and is generally praised; restaurants include Bellâ Tavola (Italian), Noida (Asian) and Hamdi (Turkish). The breakfast room fills up in high season, so go before 9 a.m.
Sea-view rooms are a clear step up from garden-view ones; corner suites on the upper floors are the pick. There are 18 suites and a separate residence block. Some reviews mention areas that escaped the renovation, so ask for a room in the refurbished block.
Generally calm; in high season beach-club and poolside music can reach lower garden-view rooms. Public areas get busy on wedding and conference days.
Some beach loungers and cabanas are charged. Spa treatments, à la carte restaurants and EV charging are extra; ask the hotel about pet fees.

Izmir · Cesme · ★★★★★
A 104-key Luxury Collection resort on its own small sandy cove in Boyalık, a short drive or walk from Çeşme town and marina, with spacious sea-view rooms, two outdoor pools, an indoor pool and a 1,400 m² spa. Guests consistently praise the design, rooms and location, while service consistency, limited open restaurants and high food and drink prices are recurring complaints.
Izmir · Cesme · ★★★★
A 155-room all-inclusive beach resort in Alaçatı's surf-beach area with a 200 m private beach and pier, rebranded in June 2024 as Türkiye's first Dolce by Wyndham. The sea and beach earn consistent praise, but recent reviews frequently flag worn rooms, patchy cleaning and uneven food quality.

A mid-range, all-inclusive beachfront hotel in Dalyanköy, Çeşme, with a 150 m private beach and pier, reflagged from Casa De Playa to La Quinta in June 2024. Location and staff draw praise, but food variety, three-day housekeeping and reported food-poisoning cases in summer 2025 are worth weighing.
