Istanbul Airport (IST) is about 40 km away, roughly 38-40 minutes by car depending on traffic; Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) is about 49 km. The hotel offers a paid airport shuttle.
The hotel sits on Şehzadebaşı Avenue, a few steps from Vezneciler-İstanbul Üniversitesi station on the M2 metro line. Süleymaniye Mosque is about a 7-minute walk and the Grand Bazaar about 10 minutes; the Blue Mosque is roughly a 4-minute drive. Although the official site refers to Sultanahmet, the hotel is on the Vezneciler/Laleli side, around 25 minutes' walk from Hagia Sophia.
The stay
A buffet breakfast is served, listed on Travelocity at EUR 10 per person, so it is not included in every rate. The on-site restaurant serves Turkish and international dishes, and there are poolside bars, though guests note the lack of a full-size bar.
Room types include a standard double with jetted tub, a family suite sleeping five, a duplex suite for four and a premium suite with its own Turkish bath. Booking sites list jetted tubs and fireplaces in the rooms, and some rooms have city views. Several Tripadvisor reviews describe rooms as cramped or different from the photos, so compare square metres before booking and request a view room in advance.
The hotel stands on busy Şehzadebaşı Avenue at a junction, with an outdoor restaurant area that fills up in the evening. Tripadvisor's review summary notes that it can be noisy; light sleepers should ask for a room away from the street.
Breakfast is charged separately on some rates (EUR 10 per person). Valet parking and the airport shuttle cost extra. Children aged 13 and over are charged as adults. Photo ID and a credit card are required at check-in. Reviews mention unexpected charges, so check your bill at checkout.
