Rail transit · 265 m
Istanbul Airport (IST) is about 39 km away and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) about 46 km. The hotel offers no airport shuttle, so plan on a taxi, private transfer or public transport; journey times vary greatly with traffic.
On Bankalar Caddesi in Karaköy, near Arap Mosque. Galata Tower is roughly a three-minute walk; the Spice Bazaar is about 1.1 km and İstiklal Avenue about 1.8 km away. Karaköy T1 tram stop is around five minutes downhill on foot, and the nearest metro is Şişhane (M2). Galataport, Istanbul Modern and SALT Galata are close by. The hotel sits on a narrow street, and 2026 reviews mention construction work nearby.
The stay
Guests report quiet rooms with the windows closed. In street-facing rooms, opening the window lets in early-morning activity and late-night rubbish trucks and motorbikes. Windows only open partially, and rooms have blackout shutters. Nearby construction may be disruptive during the day.
Breakfast is charged separately. Pets incur a non-refundable €50 fee per stay. In-room Wi-Fi is free for Marriott Bonvoy members who book direct. Some reviews warn about extra charges, and one describes a damage fee being demanded after a lobby ornament was knocked over.
There is no pool, spa, sauna or hammam. The Re:charge gym is open 24 hours, and the lobby has a pool table and a games console.
