Balıkesir bus terminal is 8 km, the train station about 2 km. 10 Burda mall and the Kuva-yi Milliye Museum are a short drive. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby.
The stay
The most frequently raised problem is the live music at the bar/restaurant below the hotel, which runs until about 24:00. Those wanting to sleep early would do well to request a room on the upper floors, away from the street/restaurant side. As the hotel is on a tree-lined avenue, traffic noise is not reported as a major problem.
