Rail transit · 141 m
Istanbul Airport (IST) is about 40 km away, 35-45 minutes by car. Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) is about 45-50 km, more than 1 hour depending on traffic. The hotel has no airport shuttle of its own.
The hotel is in Güngören, on Eski Londra Asfaltı, the main artery of the Merter textile district; the Merter metrobus stop is within walking distance, with direct metrobus access toward Mecidiyeköy and Beylikdüzü. Marmara Forum mall is 5 minutes by car, Süleymaniye Mosque about an 11-minute drive, the Grand Bazaar about 11 km. With the E-5 connection at the door, getting around the city by car is practical, but congestion at rush hour should be factored in.
The stay
The open-buffet breakfast is served from 07.00 to 10.30; included on some rates, charged per person on others, so check at booking. The Allegro/Park restaurants serve Turkish and international cuisine, and there is also a café-bar, pool bar and 24-hour room service. The instant coffee at breakfast is criticized in reviews; an extra charge may apply for filter coffee.
200 rooms: standard and superior rooms plus suite options with a bathtub; all have a minibar, safe, bathrobe and slippers and free bottled water, and an evening turndown service is provided. Reviews find the rooms spacious and clean. As the hotel is on a busy avenue, be sure to ask for a rear/inner-facing room; nighttime traffic noise is reported in avenue-facing rooms. TV channel variety is limited.
The hotel is on a busy main road; day and night traffic noise in avenue-facing rooms comes up regularly in guest reviews. Rear-facing and upper-floor rooms are noticeably quieter; ask for them specifically at booking.
Breakfast is charged on some rates. Massage and spa treatments, good coffee and the minibar are extra. Some guests report attempts to pre-authorize their card before arrival; clarify the payment terms at booking. No airport transfer is offered; plan for a taxi or HAVAİST.

Istanbul · Gungoren · ★★★★★
A 211-room ibis Styles opened in 2021 in Merter, Istanbul's textile and fashion wholesale district, and unusually well equipped for a budget brand with a 1,500 m² gym, indoor pool, hammam, sauna and Thai spa. Merter metro (M1) is a 4-5 minute walk and Laleli and the Grand Bazaar 20 minutes by metro; service is stripped back and weekday wholesale traffic is heavy.
Istanbul · Gungoren · ★★★
An 84-room Hampton opened in 2024 in Istanbul's Merter wholesale textile district, about 270 m from Merter metro station and right beside the E-5 highway. Breakfast and Wi-Fi are included and there is a 24-hour gym, but no pool, spa or on-site car park; the old city is 25-40 minutes away by metro or tram.
Istanbul · Zeytinburnu · ★★★★
