The realistic view
A 94-room city hotel opened in December 2022 opposite Erzurum City Hospital in Yıldızkent, one of the first international brands in the city. Its winter setup is the differentiator: twice-daily ski shuttles to Palandöken with a dedicated ski room and attendant at the resort, plus underfloor heating and VRF climate control in every room. No pool (sauna and plunge pool instead); a 45-room expansion with a 500-seat hall has received environmental approval, so construction activity is possible in coming years.

The hotel is in Yıldızkent in the Palandöken district, on Çat Yolu Caddesi, across from Erzurum City Hospital. Palandöken Ski Center is 15-20 minutes by car (hotel shuttle in season), Konaklı 25-30 minutes; the city center, Erzurum Castle and Çifte Minareli Medrese are ~5 km, Forum Erzurum mall ~10 minutes by car, and the Kiremitliktepe ski jumps are nearby. Erzurum Airport (ERZ) is about 16 km, 20 minutes by car; city buses pass in front of the door. The location across from the hospital is busy by day and quiet at night.
The stay
Çat Yolu Caddesi and the hospital surroundings are busy by day; on the lower floors of the street side, traffic and ambulance noise can be heard, and the rear side is calmer. Lower floors may be affected during ballroom events. If construction of the capacity expansion begins, there is a risk of daytime building-site noise; ask about the current situation before booking.
At the ski center shuttle, equipment and clothing rental and ski lessons are paid; on some channels the half-board rate includes airport transfer (a conditional promotion, confirm at booking). A deposit or pre-authorization may be requested at check-in. Infants aged 0-1 stay free, and one child under 6 stays free on most rates.
Sauna, plunge pool and fitness room are available; no swimming pool or spa treatment floor. The sauna and plunge pool pairing works well for muscle recovery after skiing; ask reception in advance about massage service.
