The realistic view
A 59-room, five-floor Mercure in a 172-year-old building opposite Sirkeci's Grand Post Office, renovated and opened in 2019. The Grand Bazaar, Basilica Cistern, Topkapı and Hagia Sophia are 7-9 minutes on foot and Marmaray, tram and ferries are at the door; no pool, no parking, no pets, and quiet despite the location.

The official ALL property page (B4D8) flags the hotel as participating, listing points earning, redemption, member advantages and the Members' rate. A Gold member review says status recognition fell short of expectations; as a single guest account, it does not change the participation status.

Rail transit · 100 m
Istanbul Airport (IST) is about 45 km, 45-60 minutes by car. Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) is around 90 minutes by Marmaray plus metro.
On a narrow street in Hobyar opposite the Grand Post Office. Sirkeci's Marmaray and tram stops are a few minutes away and the Eminönü ferry pier is walkable (Kadıköy and Üsküdar are 20-25 minutes by ferry). The Grand Bazaar and Basilica Cistern are 7 minutes on foot, Topkapı and Hagia Sophia 8, Sultanahmet Square 9; classic eateries such as Filibe Köftecisi sit within 50 m.
The stay
59 rooms over five floors, some with views of the historic city. Rooms have a bathtub and shower, kettle, minibar and air-conditioning; irons in some. Accor members report upgrades to larger rooms. Upper floors are better for both view and quiet.
Being on a side street, nights are quiet and soundproofing is praised. Daytime brings Sirkeci traffic and street activity.
Airport transfer is paid and on request. Extra-bed charges may apply. A credit-card hold is taken at check-in and the card must belong to the person named on the booking.
A spacious, well-lit gym. No pool, spa or hammam; historic bathhouses are within walking distance.

Istanbul · Fatih · ★★★★
A 40-room boutique hotel in Sirkeci, opened in 2023 inside a restored 1900 Belle Époque building and run under Marriott's Autograph Collection brand. Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar, the Spice Bazaar and Topkapı Palace are all within walking distance, and the rooftop Mezzepotamia restaurant looks over the Golden Horn and the Bosphorus. Location, cleanliness and an unusually strong concierge team are the main draws; rooms run small, and there is no parking and no pool.
Istanbul · Fatih · ★★★★★
A restored 1895 neoclassical han in Sirkeci, reopened in 2024 as a 63-key Luxury Collection hotel a three-minute walk from the Spice Bazaar and Eminönü piers. There is no spa, pool or gym, and no on-site parking.
Istanbul · Fatih · ★★★
Opened in 2024, this 101-room Hampton sits in Istanbul's Old City, 0.7 km from the Grand Bazaar and 0.8 km from Hagia Sophia, with hot breakfast and Wi-Fi included in the rate. There is no pool, spa or parking, the entrance is on a steep cobbled lane taxis cannot reach, and some lower-floor rooms get little daylight.
