The realistic view
A 51-room conversion of a 1905-1911 insurance-company building on Karaköy's historic Bankalar Caddesi, opened in June 2026 as Vignette Collection's first hotel in Türkiye. Strong on location and service, but there is no on-site parking or pool and the spa had not yet opened at the time of checking.

The T1 Karaköy tram stop and the Karaköy station of the historic Tünel funicular are about 2 minutes' walk away, and the M2 metro at Şişhane is around 7 minutes on foot. Galata Bridge and the waterfront are about 2 minutes away, Galata Tower 3-5 minutes, and İstiklal Avenue and Galataport are within 15 minutes. Kamondo Stairs and SALT Galata are on the same street. Sultanahmet is reachable by tram or about a 2.5 km walk across Galata Bridge.
The stay
The hotel sits in busy Karaköy, close to restaurants and bars. The small number of reviews so far praise the soundproofing and say nightlife noise is not an issue, but booking sites do not guarantee quiet rooms. Light sleepers can ask for a higher, inward-facing room.
A 3.3% service fee is charged at the property on top of booking-site rates. Breakfast costs about EUR 25 per person, children included, when not in the rate. Dogs cost EUR 70 per night plus a EUR 100 deposit per stay. A card or cash deposit for incidentals may be requested at check-in.
There is no pool. The gym is open from 6:00 to 23:00 with a treadmill, a stationary bike and free weights. The official site lists the Lydia Spa, with a hammam and sauna, as 'opening soon', so check whether it is open before you book.

A 62-room boutique hotel in a restored 19th-century bank at the foot of Bankalar Caddesi in Karaköy, with a small spa and hammam, meeting rooms in the old vaults and a rooftop bar. The location is hard to beat for walking, but entry-level rooms are compact and breakfast costs extra on room-only rates.
Istanbul · Beyoğlu · ★★★★
A 95-room boutique hotel split across two restored buildings one block apart below Galata Tower, opened in 2019 as Türkiye's first Tribute Portfolio property. Guests rate the location, cleanliness and staff highly, but some rooms are small, breakfast costs extra and there is no spa, pool or garage.
