Room advice

Which room should you ask for?

  • For the viewGuests prioritising city views should choose a room or suite explicitly labelled city-view. The extent of the outlook may vary by floor and orientation.
  • For familiesDeluxe rooms with two Queen beds or suites with separate living space may be more practical for families than standard King rooms. Occupancy limits should be checked for the selected category.
  • For businessTraditional King and Twin rooms with desks suit short business trips. A one-bedroom King Suite is worth considering when a separate seating area is needed.

  • Light sleepersLight sleepers may request a room away from shopping-centre access points and shared facilities. This is a precaution based on the building layout rather than an established noise complaint.
  • Room sizePublished room dimensions differ significantly between booking sites.

Rail transit · 3.3 km

Elazığ Airport (EZS) is the closest airport. Marriott lists a hotel-to-airport distance of 14.1 km, while ETS shows 10.7 km measured in a straight line. Expedia estimates approximately fifteen minutes by car under normal conditions. Marriott states that it does not operate an airport shuttle. Booking.com advertises an airport-transfer facility, but whether this is a separately arranged private transfer has not been confirmed. Taxis and pre-arranged vehicles are practical alternatives.

The hotel is on Üniversite Street in Cumhuriyet, within central Elazığ, directly beside Elysium Park shopping centre. Trip.com places the shopping centre approximately 90 metres away. ETS lists Elazığ Archaeology and Ethnography Museum around 500 metres away, Park 23 shopping centre at 1.1 km and Harun Art Gallery at 3.4 km, using straight-line distances. Expedia estimates a drive of around twelve minutes to Harput Castle. Shopping and everyday services are conveniently located nearby, while sightseeing in Harput and the wider region is easier with a car.

The stay

Editor's notes

Extra fees & things to know

Marriott accepts one pet per room weighing up to 9 kg and charges a non-refundable EUR 20 fee per stay. Breakfast costs extra on rates that do not include it. Trip.com lists an indicative buffet supplement of approximately EUR 20.66 per person, subject to change. Specialist spa treatments, minibar purchases, restaurant meals, laundry and dry cleaning may also generate charges. ETS states that a security deposit or credit-card pre-authorisation may be requested at check-in. Extra-bed charges depend on room category and booking conditions.

Pool, spa & fitness

Marriott confirms one indoor swimming pool and a complimentary fitness centre. ETS describes the indoor pool as heated and lists a Turkish hammam, sauna, steam room and spa facilities. Expedia identifies the wellness centre as FP Spa. Specialist massages and treatments may carry additional charges. Swimming-facility feedback on ETS is favourable, although the hotel's relatively recent opening means that its long-term operating record is still limited. Marriott does not currently list an outdoor swimming pool.
