Malatya's veteran hotel: trading as the Altın Kayısı since 1992, it was renovated into the Ramada chain in 2012. The 154-room property on İstasyon Avenue - 4 km from the coach terminal, 25 km from the airport - is one of the region's few congress venues, with a spa floor holding a pool, hamam, sauna and gym plus pilates and yoga classes. Know three rules before booking: no alcohol is served, no pets are accepted (including guide dogs), and the pool closes on Mondays and is off-limits to children aged 0-10. Breakfast rates above its peers in reviews, while weak English at reception is a recurring complaint from foreign guests.
