Rail transit · 372 m
Sabiha Gökçen Airport is about 19 km away, roughly 25–40 minutes by car depending on traffic. Istanbul Airport is about 50 km, typically 60–90 minutes given bridge traffic. The hotel offers a paid transfer service.
The hotel is on Atatürk Caddesi in Maltepe's Altayçeşme neighbourhood. Maltepe metro station is about 950 m away (a 10–12 minute walk) and the Marmaray suburban station about 1.5 km. Bağdat Avenue and Kadıköy ferry pier are typically 15–25 minutes by car. Piazza and Hilltown malls and Küçükyalı Archaeological Park are nearby. Tripadvisor rates walkability at 39/100: plenty of places to eat, but few sights on foot, so plan on the metro or a car.
The stay
A buffet breakfast is served in the main restaurant; the official site lists it from 07:00, while Trip.com shows 07:30–10:30 and €15 per person on room-only rates. Gluten-free, halal, vegan and vegetarian options are available. For later meals there is La Piana Italian restaurant (12:00–22:30), a lobby bar (12:00–24:00) and an in-house Starbucks (09:00–22:30).
Standard rooms are around 25 m², with either a queen bed or two twins. The hotel also offers concept rooms: a 'Media Room' with entertainment kit and a 'Fitness Room' with in-room exercise equipment. All rooms are non-smoking, and booking sites list the windows as fixed. Extra beds are not available, so a family of three may need two rooms. The building has eight regular floors plus a rooftop level; asking for a room away from the street side is sensible for light sleepers.
The hotel faces busy Atatürk Caddesi. With so few reviews so far there is no reliable signal on soundproofing; light sleepers should request a room away from the street side.
Breakfast costs €15 per person on room-only rates (Trip.com). Spa, airport transfers, dry cleaning and ironing are extra. Parking charges vary by source. No deposit is required, according to Trip.com.

An 80-room hotel on the E-5 side road in Maltepe, 100-120 m from Gülsuyu M4 metro with a direct line to both Kadıköy and Sabiha Gökçen Airport; opened in June 2021 as the first Days-branded hotel in Turkey. Hamam and sauna are a plus at this price point, but road noise on the E-5 side and the detached car park are known weaknesses.
Istanbul · Atasehir · ★★★★
Turkey's first Residence Inn, opened in 2021: a 13-floor, 125-unit extended-stay hotel where every room has a full kitchenette, with free breakfast and parking. It sits in a residential pocket next to Yeditepe University, so you will rely on buses, taxis or a car, and reviews are split on service consistency.
Istanbul · Atasehir · ★★★★★
A 238-room, five-star Marriott in Istanbul's Ataşehir business district on the Asian side, opened in 2007 and renovated in 2018. Guests consistently rate its cleanliness, service and beds highly, along with free parking, an indoor pool, a full spa with hammam and an unusually well-equipped gym — but the Old City is a long ride away, so it suits Asian-side business trips and family weekends better than classic sightseeing.
