The realistic view
A 120-room five-star city hotel opened in April 2022 at Samsun's Liman junction, run by locally founded MTZ Otelcilik. Location is the trump card - the rail station is 1 km, the waterfront promenade walkable, rooms face the Black Sea or city, and the rooftop restaurant plus an omelette-station breakfast draw consistent praise. Two structural limits to know: there is no pool or spa (just two saunas and a gym) and parking holds only about ten cars - the critical caveat for drivers. Despite the 2022 opening, some reviews cite worn textiles, maintenance niggles and weak Wi-Fi; feedback is polarized.

The stay
Liman Kavşağı is one of the city's busy spots; daytime traffic noise is noticeable in rooms on the interchange side, while the sea side and upper floors are calm. During ballroom events the lower floors get busy. Sound insulation is not cited as a major problem in reviews.
