The realistic view
Karapınar's first five-star hotel, a 120-room property on the Konya-Adana (D330) highway with an indoor pool, rooftop pool, hamam-sauna spa and games room - equipment well above the district's scale. It works as a road-trip stopover on the Konya-Adana axis and a base for the Meke Lake and sinkhole country; Konya city is 105-110 km away. Reviews note a new operation still finding its rhythm - friendly staff, but breakfast can be slow on low-occupancy days - and married couples are asked for their marriage certificate at check-in.

Rail transit · 39.1 km
Konya Airport (KYA) is 111-116 km away, ~75-85 minutes by car; Adana Şakirpaşa ~244 km. In practice nearly all guests arrive by road; the nearest YHT high-speed train stations are Konya (~105 km) and Karaman (~90 km).
The hotel is on the D330 Konya-Ereğli highway, at the entrance to the Karapınar district. Karapınar bus terminal is 3.3 km, the Selçuk University Karapınar campus 3.5 km; Meke Gölü ~8 km, Acıgöl and the sinkholes in the 10-20 km range. Ereğli is 40 km, Aksaray 90 km, central Konya 105-110 km (70-80 minutes), Adana direction ~240 km. Konya Airport (KYA) is 111-116 km. Next to the hotel there is a hill with walking trails; the location is ideal for long-distance drivers and site visitors, not for city tourists.
The stay
The main noise source is the D330 highway; truck traffic can be heard at night in rooms on the road side, while the rear side is noticeably calm. Entertainment noise within the property is close to nonexistent; wedding and reception days may be an exception.
For couples, presenting an official marriage certificate at check-in is mandatory, which must be known before booking. Minibar is paid; spa treatments (scrub, foam, massage) are extra. Infants under 2 stay free, and one child under 6 stays free on most rates. Pet acceptance rests on a single channel and may be charged; get written confirmation in advance.

Alternatives
Konya · Karatay · ★★★★
A 228-room business and city hotel opened in 2010, right next to the Mevlana Cultural Centre and a 10–15 minute walk (about 1–1.2 km) from the Mevlana Museum. Parking and Wi-Fi are free and rooms are a generous 29 m², but there is no pool or spa, breakfast is usually charged extra, and parts of the interior feel dated.
Konya · Karatay · ★★★
A small city-centre hotel (formerly Paşapark Karatay) roughly 800–900 m from the Mevlana Museum, with breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking included and a compact spa but no pool. Reviewers mostly praise the staff, cleanliness and the walkable location.
Konya · Selcuklu · ★★★★★
A 250-room five-star hotel opened in 2016 on Konya's northern İstanbul-road axis, run by Aydınbey Group and a mainstay of the city's congress and banquet scene. The location favours transit and business over sightseeing - airport 8-11 km, coach terminal 1-2 km, TÜYAP fair nearby, Mevlana Museum a 15-minute drive. Complimentary indoor pool, hamam and gym plus a breakfast praised across 5,000+ Google reviews are the strong cards; there is little to walk to in the evening, and event nights crowd the lobby and car park.
