The realistic view

Rail transit · 1.1 km
Ankara Esenboğa Airport (ESB) is about a 40-minute drive. The hotel does not run an airport shuttle.
The hotel is on Atatürk Boulevard, directly opposite the Turkish Grand National Assembly (about 220–240 m away). Kocatepe Mosque is 0.8 km and Anıtkabir 2.3–3 km away. Kızılay metro station is roughly 900 m on foot, and the hotel also points guests to Necatibey station. The restaurants and bars of Tunalı Hilmi and Arjantin Caddesi are within walking distance.
The stay
There are two restaurants: the all-day international buffet at Brasserie and the Ottoman-inspired Lalezar. Weekend breakfast runs from 7:00 to 11:00. Guests frequently mention the variety and freshness of the breakfast buffet, which includes Ankara simit. Whether breakfast is included depends on the rate booked.
The hotel fronts Atatürk Boulevard, one of Ankara's main arteries. There is not yet enough InterContinental-era review data on soundproofing; light sleepers may want to request a higher room away from the boulevard.
Parking and Wi-Fi are free. Pets cost 75 EUR per night plus a 75 EUR damage deposit. With no hotel airport shuttle, taxis or transfers are an extra cost. Breakfast inclusion depends on the rate.
The heated, semi-open indoor pool is usable year-round; swim caps are mandatory. The spa has a sauna, steam room, traditional Turkish hammam and massage treatments. There is also a fitness centre.

An 83-room, six-storey Holiday Inn in Kavaklıdere, about 100 m from the Grand National Assembly and within walking distance of ministries, embassies and Tunalı Hilmi Street. It is a practical base for government and embassy business, with free valet parking and a small spa, but no pool and only a compact cardio gym.
Ankara · Çankaya · ★★★★
A 61-room design-led budget hotel opened in 2025 in Kavaklıdere, with a library-themed lobby and fireplace lounge. Kocatepe Mosque is five minutes away, Kızılay metro 850 m and Parliament under 1 km; underfloor-heated rooms, a strong breakfast and good value make it a business-travel favourite, though there is no pool, spa or gym.
Ankara · Çankaya · ★★★★
A compact 72-room city hotel right on Tunalı Hilmi, Ankara's best-known shopping-and-café street, with breakfast included and a 2,000+ review track record. Location is the reason to book - Kuğulu Park, Karum and the embassy quarter are walkable, Kızılay metro ~2 km. The kit is modest but functional (sauna, jacuzzi, small gym, no pool); reviews praise staff and breakfast while noting some room fatigue, and street-facing rooms carry Tunalı's buzz - light sleepers should ask for the rear side.
