The capital's first five-star hotel (1966), reopened under the InterContinental brand in June 2026, sits directly across from the Turkish Parliament on Atatürk Boulevard. It suits government, diplomatic and conference travel best, with free parking for 350 cars and 13 event spaces; note that many online reviews predate the rebrand.

An 83-room, six-storey Holiday Inn in Kavaklıdere, about 100 m from the Grand National Assembly and within walking distance of ministries, embassies and Tunalı Hilmi Street. It is a practical base for government and embassy business, with free valet parking and a small spa, but no pool and only a compact cardio gym.
Ankara · Çankaya · ★★★★
A compact 72-room city hotel right on Tunalı Hilmi, Ankara's best-known shopping-and-café street, with breakfast included and a 2,000+ review track record. Location is the reason to book - Kuğulu Park, Karum and the embassy quarter are walkable, Kızılay metro ~2 km. The kit is modest but functional (sauna, jacuzzi, small gym, no pool); reviews praise staff and breakfast while noting some room fatigue, and street-facing rooms carry Tunalı's buzz - light sleepers should ask for the rear side.
