The realistic view
Opened in August 2026, this 485-room Hilton sits about 150 m from the Istanbul Airport terminal doors, with an indoor pool, hammam, 24/7 gym and an executive lounge. It is a stay-and-fly hotel, not a base for sightseeing: the city centre is 35 km away.

Rail transit · 66 m
Istanbul Airport (IST): about 150 m to the terminal doors, a few minutes on foot (up to 10 with luggage). Sabiha Gökçen (SAW): 83 km, 1.5-2 hours depending on traffic. The hotel does not run its own transfer.
The hotel stands directly opposite the Istanbul Airport terminal, roughly 150 m from the terminal doors according to Hilton. Guest reports put the walk at anywhere from a few minutes to 10 minutes; travellers with heavy luggage have taken a taxi. The M11 metro's Istanbul Airport station is across from the hotel, with Gayrettepe about 35-40 minutes away. By car it is 35 km to the city centre, 33 km to Rams Park, 35 km to Atatürk Olympic Stadium and 83 km to Sabiha Gökçen. The surroundings are airport grounds, so dining within walking distance is limited to the terminal and the hotel's own outlets.
The stay
The hotel faces the terminal and some rooms overlook the runway; as a 2026 build, insulation should be to current standards. Early reviews do not mention aircraft noise, but the review base is still small. One guest noted the power flickered briefly once or twice. With 485 rooms and large event spaces, lobby and corridor traffic rises during group periods.
Breakfast is extra. Parking costs €10-20 per day depending on source. Pets: €30 non-refundable fee, 34 kg maximum, pet passport required. Smoking in a room incurs a cleaning fee. A card or cash deposit is required at check-in for incidentals. Meal-inclusive packages exclude children's meals. Check-in 3 pm, check-out noon.

Alternatives
Istanbul · Arnavutkoy · ★★★★
A 200-room Hampton built in 2022, about 10 km south of Istanbul Airport, with buffet breakfast, Wi-Fi and covered parking included in the rate. There is no free airport shuttle and no pool or spa; it works best as a one-night layover or early-flight base rather than a holiday hotel.
Istanbul · Arnavutkoy · ★★★★
A roughly 70-room airport hotel opened in late 2022 in Arnavutköy, around 10–15 km by road from Istanbul Airport, with free parking, free Wi-Fi and a late-opening restaurant. Guests rate the staff and airport proximity highly, but its distance from central Istanbul makes it a stopover or short business base rather than a sightseeing hotel.
Istanbul · Arnavutkoy · ★★★★
A new 64-room Holiday Inn Express in Arnavutköy, about 15 km (a 10–16 minute drive) from Istanbul Airport, with breakfast included and soundproofed rooms of around 16 m². It is built for the night before an early flight or a long layover rather than for sightseeing: the city centre is roughly 34 km away and there is no metro station within walking distance.
