The realistic view
A 34-storey, 259-room Marriott tower in residential Etiler, opened in 2012, with Bosphorus views from upper floors, indoor and outdoor pools, a hammam and a 14th-floor club lounge. It suits business trips and quieter stays better than sightseeing, as the old city is about 13 km away.

On Cengiz Topel Avenue in residential Etiler. Etiler metro station (M6) is about a 14-minute walk and 4. Levent metro is roughly 5 minutes by car. Bebek ferry pier is about 2 km away, Rumelihisarı fortress 2.8 km, Kanyon mall 4.8 km and İstinyePark 6.4 km. Taksim is around 10 km and the historic peninsula around 13 km, so plan on taxis or a metro transfer.
