The realistic view
A 120-room Hilton Garden Inn opened in 2018 on the Yalova–Bursa highway, about 1.5 km south of the city centre, with an indoor pool, a June–September outdoor pool, a 24-hour gym, a spa and free covered parking. It works best for business travellers and drivers; the surroundings are not walkable, breakfast is usually extra and there is no airport shuttle.

Yalova city centre is about 1.5 km away; Hilton's own location page says 5 km, but map coordinates support the 1.5–2 km figure. The ferry and sea-bus terminal to Istanbul is a 3–5 minute drive, Mohaçkale Park is roughly a 20-minute walk and the Kipa shopping mall about 13 minutes on foot. The Walking Mansion (Yürüyen Köşk) is 8 km away, the Termal hot springs about 13 km and Bursa 60 km. There is no walkable street life around the hotel — reviewers describe the surroundings as highway and vacant land — so plan on taxis or a car.
