The realistic view
A 207-room business hotel directly behind Symbol Mall on the D-100 highway in Başiskele, reopened in 2023 under the property owner's management after several years closed. Breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking are included in the rate; there is no pool or spa, and slow lifts plus a confusing parking arrangement are the recurring complaints.
Good to know
Elevator waitProblem
The lifts are the most frequently repeated complaint: guests describe them as slow, with long waits, doors that open late and a fiddly keycard system for floor access.
Compiled from booking-platform data.
ParkingCaution
Although the official site lists free parking, guests report that they are directed to the adjacent mall's covered car park, which closes at 22:00, and that spaces in front of the hotel are limited.
Official information and guest reviews were assessed together.

Compiled from booking-platform data.
Room conditionNormal
Rooms are found spacious and beds comfortable, but some reviews describe rooms as slightly run-down, with poorly kept items such as ironing boards.
Compiled from booking-platform data.
BreakfastNormal

Compiled from booking-platform data.
ServiceNormal
Front desk staff are described as friendly and helpful in most reviews, but there is no luggage assistance and there are examples of slow responses to requests such as extra bedding.

Rail transit · 1.2 km
The hotel sits on the D-100 highway opposite the Yahya Kaptan neighbourhood, sharing a campus with Symbol Mall and a private hospital, with direct access into the mall. According to Hilton, İzmit city centre is about 10 minutes by car, Seka Park and the waterfront about 10 km, and Maşukiye and Ormanya wildlife park around 20 minutes. İzmit Clock Tower is 5-8 km away, Köseköy railway station roughly 4 km (9-10 minutes' drive) and the intercity bus terminal about 2 km. Tripadvisor gives the address a walkability grade of 38 out of 100 and recommends a car: beyond the mall and the restaurants around it, very little is reachable on foot.
The stay
Booking sites list the rooms as soundproofed, and traffic noise does not stand out as a complaint in the reviews checked; some guests describe the hotel as quiet. That said, the building stands right beside the D-100 highway and shares a campus with a shopping mall. Light sleepers would be sensible to ask for a higher floor facing away from the highway, although no verified floor or façade guidance was found.
No extra charges appear for breakfast, Wi-Fi or parking. A fee is charged for smoking in a non-smoking room. A credit card hold or cash deposit for incidentals may be requested at check-in. Pets are not accepted. One review notes the minibar arrives empty, and some bathroom extras such as dental kits and cotton buds are not provided.
Fitness only: a 24-hour gym that guests describe as well equipped. There is no pool, spa, sauna, hammam or massage service.
