The realistic view

Beyond the first impression

Verified information only

A 150-room Hampton opened in March 2017 on the D-100 road at the western edge of Bolu, close to the TEM motorway and attached to the Paşa Convention Centre. Breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking are included, rooms are compact at about 25 m², and there is no pool or spa, so it works best as a stopover or a car-based base for Abant, Gölcük and Yedigöller.

What it does well

  • Drivers breaking the Istanbul–Ankara journey with a one-night stop
  • Business travellers visiting Bolu, the Düzce industrial zone or events at the adjacent Paşa Convention Centre
  • Visitors touring Lake Abant, Gölcük Nature Park and Yedigöller by car while sleeping in town

What to watch for

  • Rooms are about 25 m² and some show wear; guests expecting space may be disappointed.
  • Spa & wellness: Anyone expecting a pool, spa, sauna or hammam (there is none)
  • Guests who need space; standard rooms are about 25 m²
