The realistic view

Beyond the first impression

Verified information only

A 100-room city hotel opened in December 2019 in Adana's Ziyapaşa district, about a 6-minute walk from Adana railway station, with an indoor pool, a spa with Turkish bath, a large gym and two meeting rooms. Parking is valet-only, upper floors can pick up noise from the gym and rooftop events, and scheduled flights now use Çukurova Airport, roughly 45 minutes away by car.

What it does well

  • Business travellers with meetings in central Adana who want cafés, restaurants and shops within walking distance
  • Guests who want larger-than-usual city hotel rooms (standard rooms are about 32 m²)
  • Travellers who want an indoor pool, Turkish bath, sauna and a well-equipped gym in the same building

What to watch for

  • The hotel also hosts weddings and engagement parties; on upper floors gym and event noise can reach the rooms. Ask for a lower floor at weekends.
  • The airport is no longer close: Çukurova Airport is about 45 minutes by car and the hotel runs no shuttle of its own.
  • Airport stays: Anyone who wants a hotel near the airport: Çukurova Airport is about 45 minutes away by car

Location

Adana, Seyhan

Kurtuluş Mahallesi, Mithat Saraçoğlu Caddesi No:3, 01130 Seyhan/Adana

Rail transit · 492 m

Adana Şakirpaşa Airport closed to scheduled flights in August 2024; flights now operate from Çukurova International Airport (COV) near Tarsus, about 45 minutes from the hotel by car. Hilton states there is no airport shuttle, while some booking sites show an on-request paid transfer, so confirm with the hotel. The '10 minutes from the airport' line still found on many listings refers to the old airport.

The hotel is on Mithat Saraçoğlu Street in the Ziyapaşa area of Seyhan, Adana's main café, dining and shopping district; Tripadvisor counts more than 140 restaurants within about 500 metres. Adana railway station is roughly a 6-minute walk, the Adana Archaeology Museum is 1.3 km (15 minutes on foot), Merkez Park and Sabancı Central Mosque are about 1.6 km (18 minutes on foot), and the Stone Bridge (Taşköprü) is about 3 km away. The nearest metro stop, Vilayet, is around 13 minutes on foot and İstiklal is 19 minutes. Seyhan Dam Lake is about 15 minutes by car.

The stay

Editor's notes

Noise & sound insulation

Booking sites list the rooms as soundproofed, but three complaints recur: daytime music and thumping from the gym located above guest floors, live music from rooftop weddings on weekend evenings lasting until about 23:00, and conversation carrying through connecting-room doors. Most of these reports concern the 6th floor. If you are staying at a weekend, ask whether an event is scheduled and request a lower floor. One review also mentions noisy housekeeping in the corridor in the morning.

Extra fees & things to know

Breakfast is charged unless you choose a breakfast-inclusive rate. Pets cost a non-refundable €45 per stay (maximum 10 kg, pet ID card required). A credit card or cash deposit is requested at check-in for incidentals. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may be charged. Valet parking and Wi-Fi are free. The Turkish lira amounts shown on booking sites for breakfast, airport transfer and pets look out of date, so confirm current prices with the hotel. Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is at 12:00.

Pool, spa & fitness

There is an indoor three-lane pool for adults and a separate children's pool; there is no outdoor pool. The spa has a Turkish bath, steam room, sauna and massage rooms, and massages must be booked in advance. The gym is one of the most praised facilities in guest reviews and is listed as open 24 hours; it appears to run as a fitness club that also has outside members, and hotel guests are asked to fill in a form at the entrance. One guest noted that the pool is a long way from the sauna and steam room.
