The realistic view
A 2015-built, 84-unit Luxury Collection resort terraced down a hillside in Asarlık, between Bodrum town and Bitez, with sea-view balconies in every room, a private beach and a spa with hammam. Open year-round, but summer beach-club music and events, and outdoor-oriented dining in winter, are worth weighing before booking.

In Asarlık, on the bay between Bodrum town and Bitez. Bodrum Marina is about 6 minutes (4.2 km) by car, Bodrum Castle about 7 minutes (4.6 km), Bar Street about 8 minutes (5.7 km). Bitez Beach is roughly 1 km, a 15-minute walk. The surroundings are only somewhat walkable; ask reception to call a taxi for trips into town, which can take 20-25 minutes.
The stay
Breakfast combines a buffet with a separate à la carte menu, which you may need to ask for. Dinner options include Buddha-Bar Beach, Barbarossa, La Zucca Pizza Bar and Glass Restaurant & Bar, some of which open seasonally. Expect high prices: guests mention around 20-25 dollars/euros for a glass of wine.
