MGallery Collection in Türkiye

Upper upscale

Parent group: Accor

MGallery is Accor's boutique collection brand: each hotel keeps its own name, story and design character while the brand itself stays in the background. Its Turkish presence is small but selective, split between Istanbul's historic quarters and the holiday side of Bodrum.

Typical service standard

Hotels tend to be small-scale, set in restored historic buildings or properties with a distinct design identity; rooms follow the building rather than a fixed template and are limited in number. Breakfast is usually of good quality with a local flavour, and service leans towards the personal and informal rather than the polished formality of the big luxury chains. Prices sit in the upper band but below the full luxury brands, which makes MGallery a good fit for couples and city travellers who value character and location over the scale of a classic five-star.

Best suited for

Pros

  • + Every hotel is different, with a sense of place you rarely get from a chain
  • + The Istanbul properties occupy historic, central locations
  • + Small scale translates into more personal service
  • + ALL programme lets you earn and redeem points across Accor
  • + Design and atmosphere set it apart from standard five-stars at a similar price

Cons

  • − Room sizes and layouts in historic buildings are uneven, and some rooms run small
  • − Facilities such as pools, spas and large meeting spaces are limited at most properties
  • − Standards vary noticeably between hotels, so the brand name alone is not a guarantee
  • − Only a handful of hotels in Turkey, so choice is narrow
  • − Small scale and location can push prices above what the facilities alone would justify
