Let's start honestly: Istanbul's new airport is 35–50 km from most city hotels; 'airport hotel' in Istanbul now mostly means properties on the airport campus itself. Antalya and Izmir are far friendlier: most city hotels are within 25 minutes of the airport.
Our criteria: (1) realistic door-to-door transfer time, (2) morning traffic for early flights, (3) transfer cost, (4) 24h reception and early-breakfast flexibility.
In Antalya, Rixos Downtown (AYT ~18 km) and Crowne Plaza (~22 km) are comfortable for early flights. In Izmir, Swissôtel Büyük Efes at ~15 km is the best city-plus-airport balance. In Istanbul, Ramada Florya sits by the former Atatürk Airport; plan knowing Istanbul Airport is ~35 km — about 40 minutes for a 05.00 flight.
An Izmir icon since 1964, the Büyük Efes has flown the Swissôtel flag since its 2008 transformation. With 12,000 m² of gardens, an 800-piece art collection and a convention centre, it is the Aegean's reference city hotel.
